I am all for attracting new talent to our industry and it is certainly a necessity for the future of our business. However, I am hearing too many stories of industry veterans being discarded and replaced by younger people with no training or experience. Competition between veterans and rookies is a good thing for everyone, but let us not ignore the technicians that got us to where we are today.
Is anyone else seeing this trend? What is being done at your company?
